Physical Preparation
In this section of the blog we will provide some ideas regarding physical training. It is also a great place to provide any workout information you might find for the group to take a look at. To be prepared you will want to at least start some kind of plan by mid-August.This kind of trip with 45- 50 lbs on your back will really challenge your balance. Do some research and find exercises designed to increase not only your muscle stamina, but balance as well.Suggested exercises so far:
- Start walking or running. Get your endurance and heart rate up. We will be walking about 8 hours a day.
- Lunges. A great way to strengthen your legs.
